Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone is riding solo! Well, at least during this year’s festival of lights. The “Love Aaj Kal” actress has reportedly said that she will not celebrate Diwali with her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor but is planning on traveling to Bangalore to be with her family. While it is unclear what the “Wake Up Sid” star will do instead of spending time with Deepika, it is clear that he has been dumped during Diwali!
Looks like family and career come first for the B-town babe as her new movies “Katrik Calling Kartik” with Farhan Akhtar and “Houseful” with Akshay Kumar are set to release sometime next year. Deepika was last seen gracing this month’s cover of Cosmopolitan magazine, pulling off a very classy yet sexy look. She also took home the Fashion Icon of the Year award at this year’s India Youth Icon Awards.
As for her beau Ranbir, he was last seen on the glammy cover of Star Dust magazine, donning a white open shirt and flashy sun glasses, looking like the latest member of a young, new boy band. He is currently filming Prakash Jha’s new drama “Rajneeti” with Katrina Kaif and Ajay Devgan, as well as Shimit Amin’s latest comedy “Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year.”
So what are the two love birds to do about their busy schedules? Do they ever have time to see each other? Well let’s just say that leaving your boyfriend on Diwali to spend time with your family is not going to make things better!
